TJ Hein
Owner
TJ graduated with a degree in Fisheries and Water resources from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. He holds a level 4 Rosgen certification in fluvial geomorphology and river design. In nearly a decade of professional experience, TJ has restored several miles of stream, built dozens of wetland complexes/ponds/swales, helped establish native grassland and savanna on two of Golf Digests’ Top 100 courses, and is working on building his second regenerative farm. TJ believes it is critical to take a holistic approach to restoration. Lasting ecological and geophysical uplift is only possible when social and economic returns are undeniable.

Tim Gander
Biologist
Tim’s passion for the outdoors led him to a Fisheries and Water Resources degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He spent the following seven years in Montana conducting biological surveys and working on native fish restoration projects. He returned to the Driftless Area of Wisconsin in Spring 2024 and began working with Savanna Springs. Tim assists with logistics and projects in Arkansas and is looking to get involved with restoration in southwest Wisconsin.

Clara Silverstein

Summer received a B.S. in Horticulture in 2022 from Stephen F. Austin State University. It was there that she grew interested in and worked with native plants, ecology, landscapes, land stewardship, and invasive species management. She will finish her M.S. at the University of Arkansas in the spring of 2024. Her graduate studies focus on weed science, weed ecology, experimental design, agricultural research, and row crop agriculture.

Nolan Stafford
Nolan is from southeast Missouri where he was fortunate to grow up hunting, fishing, and maintaining a small piece of generational family land. This is where his passion for the land and outdoors began. From there he worked on a South Texas whitetail hunting ranch where cattle and other management practices were used to restore native habitat. He then went on to work in Montana doing more habitat and wildlife management work.
